Dog Boarding Kennels

NOTICE:

Unfortunately we are unable to take any new clients for the December 2026 /January 2027 school holidays.

cosy Kennels' Facilities:

Cosy Kennels is situated on a one-acre site and has 6 large grassed and shaded areas for your dog to run and play.

  • We have single and double pens available.
  • Dogs are given the opportunity to exercise for up to 2 hours twice per day with other sociable dogs (or by themselves if unsocial).
  • Hessian trampoline beds are provided with blankets and towels for extra comfort.
  • Kennels are cleaned while the dogs play with their friends in our grassed paddocks.
  • Our pens are cooled by industrial evaporative air coolers and fans to keep your dog comfortable during the warmer months.
  • In the cooler months, we provide ‘cosy’ acrylic kennel houses with soft blankets to keep your dog warm.

meals:

  • Dogs are fed twice per day with high-quality biscuits (fish-based due to some dogs having chicken/beef allergies) and biscuits with meat roll for dinner.
  • Special dietary needs – meals must be provided by pet owner.
  • Medication - no added cost for administering medication (must be in original packaging, clearly labelled and with instructions).

boarding prices:

Prices are per calendar day (includes the day your dog arrives and the day he/she departs).

  • 1 Dog - $30 per day (unsterilised dogs $35 per day)
  • 2 Dogs - $50 per day (with unsterilised dog(s) $55 per day)
  • Dog Wash - $20 per dog (ONLY available for boarding dogs)
  • Dogs staying for 10 days or more receive a complimentary dog wash (weather permitting).
  • Owners must supply a CURRENT C5 vaccination certificate - a phone pic is acceptable.

cosy kennel's transport:

  • Transport is usually available by request, but is subject to availability
  • PICK UP from your home is usually between 12pm – 3pm (times may vary)
  • DROP OFF back home is usually between 10am - 12pm (times may vary)
  • Transport @ $2 per km - exact price quoted on booking

Cattery - Boarding for Cats

cosy kennels' cattery facilities:

  • Cats staying in our care are housed in 2m x 1.5m pens with windows that look out to the garden. Double pens 3m x 1.5m are also available.
  • The pens are cooled and warmed by reverse cycle air conditioning for year-round comfort. During mild weather, windows are opened to let gentle breezes flow through and keep the air fresh and healthy.
  • Our pens have igloo-style shelters and cat-friendly furniture such as scratching posts, chairs and jumping and relaxation platforms.
  • Food, a water bowl, and a litter tray are also provided.
  • Cat pens are cleaned twice daily.

meals:

  • Cats are provided with a variety of quality biscuits and meat for their meals twice a day.
  • Special dietary needs – meals must be provided by pet owner.
  • Medication - no added cost for administering medication (must be in original packaging, clearly labelled and with instructions).

boarding prices:

Prices are per calendar day (includes the day your cat arrives and the day he/she departs).

  • 1 cat - $15 per day per pen.
  • 2 cats in the same pen - $25 per day.
  • Owners must supply a CURRENT F3 vaccination certificate - a phone pic is acceptable.

transport:

  • Transport is usually available by request, but is subject to availability
  • PICK UP from your home is usually between 12pm – 3pm (times may vary)
  • DROP OFF back home is usually between 10am - 12pm (times may vary)
  • Transport @ $2 per km - exact price quoted on booking
  • A secure cat cage is available if required (cats must be secured in a cage for the journey).

Opening Hours

Cosy Kennels operates 7 days per week (except Christmas Day).

Pet Pick ups & Drop Off Times:

Summer Months (Nov – Apr):
7.00am – 9.00am & 4.00pm – 6pm.

Winter Months (May to Oct):
8.00am – 10.00am & 4.00pm – 6pm.

visiting inspection times:

If you would like to visit our facilities, please give at least 24 hours notice so we can ensure someone is available to show you around (the times available are as above).
